iPhoto is clearly not built for at present over 90,000 pics. Will Aperture handle that and more. If so, how do I go about moving that many pics from iPhoto libraries to Aperture? Thanks to the house! Phoenix
Step 1. Quit iPhoto. Step 2. Drag the iPhoto library onto the Aperture icon. Step 3. … there is no step 3!
As of Aperture 3.3 and iPhoto 9.3, they share a common database. So as long as you’re on iPhoto 9.3 or later, and have Aperture 3.3 or later installed, that’s all you have to do.
And yes, Aperture can handle libraries that size and much, much larger.
