Hello there - my apologies for having such a generic question title but that is what has happened. I was having problems with my aperture program (Version 2). I attempted to set up a vault and that caused the swirling circle of death and the program to stop responding. Every time I opened it after a forced quit it did the same thing. So I upgraded with the software I had bought for my laptop via the app store. Now the pictures that I had before are no longer showing up in the program save for a random 4 pictures. I have no idea where they are, they don't show up in my files but I have over 250G of “other files” when I check my storage. Anyone have any ideas? Thoughts on where they might be or what I should do? Thanks in advance for any help.
Judson
Your situation sounds like a new library has been created.
First try Aperture/File/Switch to Library and see if other libraries are present.
If that fails
Try entering “library” in the spotlight search query window
Probably in Mac HD/users/your name/pictures.
Select that library and update it as required.
