MacBook Pro Retina display concerns #1

I love the MBP Retina display for its pixel density and image crispness. I'm noticing that it suffers from vignetting. The center of the display seems brighter than the sides and top and bottom. Does anyone else notice this? Set your wallpaper to a medium tone solid color like grey or blue, clear your desktop, and see if the wallpaper looks vignetted?

Walter,

Just for the heck of I just checked and had no vignetting as you described. I am using a MacBook Pro Retina 15” (June 2012) 16GB DDR Ram, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB with a 500GB SSD.

Same here now. Don’t know what was happening. Thanks for checking.
