Unfortunately something about the new site is attracting spammers like flies to rotten cheese. We have already done a few things and can use your help. 

• We implemented a “this is spam” button. Only two people have to hit it to unpublished the message. So if you see spam… click it!
• we changed the front page forum posts to only show most active, meaning posts with at least five comments.
• we are blocking users and IP addresses as we see them but this is a crappy way to block spammers. 

We may have to take more drastic steps which would be very unfortunate. Wish us luck. And help by marking spam as spam.
