Is there a way of getting rid of old export plugins?

Thanks

Mark,

There are two places to look. Some plugins are installed for a single user, and some are installed for all users.

Go to:
/Users/yourname/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/
and also to:
/Library/Application Support/Aperture/Plug-Ins/
and you’ll find them there.

Some installers have an uninstaller, which is a better way to uninstall just in case there are support files installed elsewhere, however this method will remove it from Aperture for sure.

Of course Mark, link away. Content should never be copy/pasted to another site, but excerpts with links back are always welcome!

Mark may already know this, but just for completeness I add this to Joseph’s answer.

If you’re running Lion, you’ll need to hold down the option key while selecting the Go menu in the Finder to see your user Library folder. Lion added the “feature” of hiding user Library folders.

If you have more than one user, there’s a chance a plug-in could be installed in multiple user Library folders.
