Probably not a new Aperture but an update of his older content. That said, he had just updated his Flickr course when they changed everything. So here’s to him jinxing it for us and a new Aperture on a Tuesday next month! He’ll just have update twice…
Listen to Derrick Story’s latest podcast where he does mention he is doing an Aperture video at Lynda.com. However he states it is not Aperture 4 but on Portrait Retouching and Enhancing Product Photography with the current version of Aperture.
Adding to the conjecture …. the job posting for an Aperture test engineer suggests Apple is gearing up testing for a new release. Software testing cycles for complex ssytem (which I think Aperture is) take 2-3 months in my experience, so I’m eyeing Sept or Oct for Aperture X. If it comes sooner, so much the better!
I formally and publicly announce my services for consideration as a alpha and/or beta testing a new version of Aperture … I’ll gladly sign an NDA and keep mum until it’s release … ;-)
Let’s keep our fingers crossed that something good is coming very soon ..

Would be nice if it was an Aperture 4 video.
