I saw on the keynote today something about Pixelmator and that it has brushes that can be used in Photos.

Has anyone else tried it? It looks promising, the demo, but I’m wondering if there are any other softwares out there to extend Photos.app in the way of Aperture. Not just editing, but also meta data handling.

I’d really like to be able to find a way to use Photos.app for my image management so that I can natively use my iPad to continue to be  a place where I can download my photos from my DSLR to and have them uploaded automatically like with photostream.
