I post a daily photo to the web. After adjusting I want to resize it so it fits within 1024 x 1024 and convert to JPEG. Then place it in a different project as a copy.
At present I do this by exporting to my desktop , where it is the desired format and size.
I then re-import to my current POTD project. This so I can take the POTD file “on the road” as a library on my MBP
Is there any way to resize the version and place it in another project without exporting?
Hey WetcoastBob, see “How to View After Export?” and Joseph’s reply to me. Would take you most of the way there, without the final move from source project to new project.

Steve’s right, the applescript “Convert Master File Format” will do what you want. You would choose the 1024 size you wanted when running the script, and it would do the rest for you.
The only real difference is that the script, if I recall correctly, will mark your originals as rejects (the point of this script is to save space by eliminating unneeded RAW files). If you open the script in AppleScript Editor you can probably find the line(s) of code that reject the masters, and eliminate that. If you need some help, post a question in the AppleScript Support Forum.
