Henrik,

I’m not sure I understand the question… did you mean to title this “Shutter” (not Shuttel), and you’re looking for shutter speed? Or do you mean how many a shutter count, meaning how many frames you’ve fired with that camera?

If the second, and you know how to do that in Preview, please share that with me… I’m not sure I know where that info is visible in Preview!

sorry Joseph for my bad spelling :)
What i mean is my camera has now taken 11500 shoots
1. Open file in Preview.
2. Goto Tools > Inspector
3. Click on More Info Inspector [!]
4. Click Nikon/Canon
second line up from bottom is ShutterCount.

so how can i get same thing in Aperture
i want to use this to keep track of how many shoot i have left before my d90 nikon could fail and get me a new d3s :)

Henrik,

It appears that this metadata field is unique to Nikon. I don’t see it in my Canon files in Preview (but I do have some Nikon files and verified what you’re seeing). Unfortunately I could not find a way to locate that data in Aperture at all.

I guess you’ll have to occasionally check in Preview to see how close you are to your D3s :)
