In iphoto it is easy to split an event into multiple events or to combine multiple events into one event. I don’t see the similar functionality in A3. Am I missing something?
In Aperture, we don’t have “Events”… we have “Projects”. Pretty much the same thing, and the view you’re probably looking at is the “Projects” view, which shows those “event-like” icons (the rounded-squares view of all your projects).
To “split”, or to move photos into a new Project, simply select the photos you want to move, and create a new Project from the New menu. Aperture will ask if you want it to move the selected files into the new project or not (if you choose not to, you’ll be creating an empty project).
To combine projects, you can actually do that from the Projects view. Simply drag one project onto another… voilà!
