Hi - i am transferring my masters from one external hardrive to another (brand new) and i am getting the following error message after getting about about 15Mb through of 190 GB:
“You cannot copy library to the destination because its name is the same as the name of an item on the destination, except for the case of some characters”
I have done a repair of database
Appreciate any ideas.

You’re getting that error in Aperture? I’m assuming you’re doing the move by choosing the Relocate Masters command?
I’d try smaller batches. This move will actually reveal potentially hidden problems in your library that you wouldn’t have otherwise stumbled upon.
See if you can do a handful of Projects at a time, and get past that point.
