I cannot delete the trash. It is getting fuller and fuller. I can delete pictures but they just stay in the trash and will not be deleted! Pse can someone help me. Thanks.
If you ctrl click on the trash folder you should get the option to “Delete from Aperture Trash”. You will then get a message to say “are you sure you want to delete” and if the files are referenced, there will be a box that says “move referenced files to system trash”
If you are using referenced files and only delete them from Aperture, they will remain in the original location on your hard drive.
If you’re already doing what Sarah has suggested and it’s not deleting, please tell us if there’s an error message coming up, or if simply nothing is happening. If that’s the case you can try running a permissions repair on the library; just hold down command and option when you launch Aperture.

Hope that helps.
