In Aperture 3.0, im trying to print a book project to PDF. As soon as I click print, i get the error message “Unavailable images detected in book” and need to reconnect all of the files.

The stupid thing is that the files already are connected. I have been editing them in Aperture and Viveza. In the case of the latter new tiff files have been saved, which I have further edited in Aperture. The icon in the bottom of the picture is a square with an arrow (not red, not yellow). The external hard drive is clearly mounted as I've been working off it.

nevertheless I've tried to relink files in the “Referenced Files” window. As soon as i click on a file and its reference and then click “Reconnect” the files just deselect themselves and nothing happens.

What in the world is wrong this is really frustrating. Thanks in advance.
