Is there a correct order for using plugins in Aperture? Do you begin or end with the plugin? I am beginning to use NIK products, and PT Lens. Not sure when in the workflow they should be used„before or after any or all Aperture adjustments?

Thanks for any help

There’s no set “correct order” or workflow, but common sense needs to prevail.  You want to send the “best” version of an image to Nik (or other plugins).  This means making all of the needed exposure/highlight/shadow/color correction/etc…etc…etc…adjustments in Aperture.

From this point, I usually flip the image to PT Lens or Photoshop CC to make any further edits.  Then, I’ll start experimenting in Nik, or using  various presets.  Sometimes, I’ll create multiple versions of an image just to experiment with different looks or renditions.
