I have been using iCloud drive photos on my iOS devices for a while and am finally ready to migrate my Aperture library to Photos on my Mac. How will iCloud Drive treat the photos on my iOS devices? Will it merge them with my my Aperture (now Photos) library? I don’t want to lose any of the images in the transition. Thanks for your help.

A second issue: my iPhone isn’t uploading new photos to iCloud drive. In the iCloud settings, under photos, it says “311 items to upload” and it has said this for weeks. I have restarted, confirmed wifi is enabled and not luck. I have received a notifation that my photo library hasn’t synced in 20+ days. Thoughts?
