Now I have a new 27” monitor I am enjoying being able to work in full screen.
Some questions have arisen:
1) Can I edit what appears in the Toolbar in FS?
2) If I start in Browser view and click on an image, how do I get back to Browser? The 'A' key does it when not in FS but seems to have no effect when in FS and there is no Browser button in the toolbar.
Hi Marcus,
1) The fullscreen toolbar can’t be edited.
2) The “V” key switches between the different views. You can also double click an image to go back to the other view. Double click an image in the browser to open it fullscreen and then double-click it again to go back to the browser.
You can also bring up the HUD using the “H” key to get access to more adjustments while in fullscreen. The HUD has the Library/Metadata/Adjustment tabs in it that you can cycle through using “W”.

Thanks Thomas.
I think allowing that toolbar to be edited is something that ought to appear in the next version if/when there is one.
I’m so used to the A key that it is just plain annoying that the same key does not work in FS as well!
Marcus,
Have you remapped the “A” key? The default command for A is to go back to the selection tool. It doesn’t affect any of the view modes. The “V” key switches between the views in regular as well as full screen.
If you didn’t change the A, I’m not sure I follow what is happening on your system.
