Imagine you've painstakingly brushed in a mask to affect part of your image using the Curves adjustment. You then decide that you really need to apply Color, or saturation, or even a secondary Curves adjustment to the same area. Until now, you were faced with recreating that mask for each new adjustment. No more.
This script will copy, or “lift” your painted mask from one adjustment, and then paste, or “stamp”, it into another.
Important to understand…
This script operates differently than any other, and it's important to understand this before using it. This script will actually QUIT Aperture after you've started it, at which point it will do it's lift & stamp magic, and then automatically relaunch Aperture. If you have a massive library, and expect to do this a lot on a single image or project, this could slow down your workflow as you quit and launch the app several times. Therefore if you know you'll be doing it a lot, you may want to export that image or project into new library to work on, then merge that back in with your main library later.
