Viveca does not work on OS X 10.10 for me. Looking at their website, it’s not available for 10.10.

Viveza 2 appears to be working for me, although to be fair I may have a different build from you as I'm part of the beta community. But I thought I was running shipping software.
What happens when you try to launch it?

I would like to obtain this workshop within the LaborDay offer, but the “buy fom video2brain” link does not seem to work anymore (says this shop would be closed…)
Is there another way to download the Nik Creative Effects Workshop?
Thanks in advance for your support,
Michael

Fast easy to grasp explanations, with plenty of examples
Top notch.

The course was a great tutorial. I was a little currious that the lesson on “Using U points for complete control” came toward the end of the tutorial since he uses them in vitually all of the previous lessons. I was thinking that might be better brought up to be one of the earlier lessons. But, because Joseph explains points so well it doesn't take away from the course at all. Just a suggestion to indoctrinate the student to the U Points early on.
Joseph Linaschke is an excellent instructor. I will search out other courses he teaches. Joseph does speak a little on the fast side, but not so much that its a major down point. He has a good speaking voice and speaks very distinctly.

Thanks for the feedback; I'll definitely get into U Points sooner in my next training.

The whole NIK collection wasn't featured. Spent way too much time with Silver Efex. Also, Snapseed for Mac doesn't exist anymore. I did learn a lot about Silver Efex, Color Efex and especially U points.
very informative, although a little too repetitive. Great way of explaining everything. Seems like this is too easy for “intermediate”

Thanks for your feedback. The entire Nik collection was featured, as it was at the time of recording. And at that time, Snapseed did exist. We don’t generally remove training because software goes out of date. I still have and use Snapseed, and will continue to until it stops working!
I’m glad you found the course informative, if a bit repetitive. The thing is with these trainings, we try to keep every lesson as self-sufficient as possible. In a lesson like this, where I’m trying to cover multiple “apps”, there are certain basics that need to be covered in each one just in case a viewer skips others and goes straight to the one they want.
My next training on Nik will be structured differently however, so I definitely appreciate the feedback!

Would have liked a little more overview about HDR Effects Pro & Dfine capabilities, and perhaps a module at the end showing how to use the plugins from Lightroom and natively inside of Photoshop including benefit or tradeoffs of using plugins with Smart Filters

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not a Lightroom expert so I tend to avoid it in training, so I don't come across like I don't know what I'm talking about! But I totally understand and will try to incorporate it in my next training. And thanks for the point on Smart Filters. They are extremely powerful, and I got into using them on a more recent art project, which ended up generating files over 2GB in size — wow! But they are exceptionally powerful, and I'll definitely include them in my next Nik training.

Expand the range of topics to cover more of the NIK suite of plug-ins. He talked a bit fast at times, but I could go back if I wanted to.
Very good – he knows what he is talking about! I especially like that he did this with Aperture mostly instead of Lightroom or Photoshop.
More detailed ones about the NIK plug-ins overall. With the same person!

really liked his whole method of presentation. I “got” it.
