Here's what we looked at in this session on Printing in Lightroom… (and by the way, a lot of the details here are the same as in the Books module, so you may want to watch that video first).
- Making contact sheets
- Understanding layout options like zoom, rotate and repeat
- Setting up pages with single or multiple images
- Adding watermarks to your prints
- Creating print and custom packages (i.e. 1-8x10, 2-5x7, 4-wallet prints, etc.)
- Preset layouts
- Using the Print tool for making web layouts

Hi Joseph & Thomas, I just got to look this session over and I have I think an answer to Thomas’ question about print paper size and a question. First to Thomas, I think what you may need to do is to Go into Custom Package and create a preset for the unique size you want for your print and choose that to start with. Select or drag your picture into that preset and then select Printer when you are done and if you have large enough printer paper to include your unique size, then it should print to that. It sounds too simple so it may not be what you were asking but that is my thought. Second, Joseph, I’ve seen wall print exhibits where they will take a single picture, usually landscape, and have several pieces hung separately but close together sort of like a triptych. I was wondering if there was a way to do that in the Print module but keep in on one page like a triptych. I have not found a way in my limited research into the Print module.
Cheers until next time,
Florian
