Converting from iPhoto to Photos in iOS 8

If you were an iPhoto on iOS user, once upgrading to iOS 8, iPhoto will no longer run. Pictures will move and edits will convert, but not all the features of iPhoto are in Photos. In fact, if you rely on iPhoto, you may want to hold off upgrading to iOS 8. Read on to see what does, and what doesn’t, carry over.

Using Aperture 3… on the iPad?

The iPad is the perfect device to show easily your photos. Many Aperture 3 users want a companion app which allows viewing, rating and other things directly on the iPad. Unfortunately while there is still no official solution, we can get the desktop version of Aperture running on the iPad with a little effort.
